Mechanic — briefing

The work Elektronik and I are doing is taking longer than expected, so I need your help once more. While I'm connected to the system, I'm receiving data from several sensors, and I can see the laboratory is crowded with lots of "visitors". The risks I warned you about haven't gone away. That's why I'm prepared to pay for the elimination of those who are stripping the laboratory of everything valuable without giving any thought to the danger they're creating.

On completion

Mechanic: I'm glad to see you made it back safely. We've finished developing the updated security protocols. All that's left is deploying them across the entire laboratory. I doubt I'll ever be able to make use of those intrusion devices again, but that's a small price to pay for a result like this. Thank you for your help, and for acting responsibly. For many people, the chance to make a profit has completely overridden their common sense. I'm glad you're not one of them.
