Break the Chain
“Break the Chain” is a Mechanic task in Escape from Tarkov. Reward: 30,000 XP. Objectives: Destroy the transmitter on the factory chimney near the unfinished construction site on Customs; Destroy the transmitter on the power line tower on Customs. Walkthrough, map and requirements.
Mechanic — briefing
They hold comms through repeaters: two on Customs — the factory chimney and the power line tower — and two in Woods, on the rock and the cell tower. Take down all four and they go deaf for a day. A day is all I need.
Objectives
- Destroy the transmitter on the factory chimney near the unfinished construction site on Customs
- Destroy the transmitter on the power line tower on Customs
- Destroy the transmitter on top of the mountain on Woods
- Destroy the transmitter on the cell tower on Woods
Tactical notes
- The repeaters are on two maps — Customs and Woods — so this cannot be done in one raid.
- Each repeater sits up high: approach from where you can see the whole of it.
On completion
Mechanic: Silence on the air. I like this kind of silence.
