Jaeger — briefing

Have you seen what's been going on in Priozersk lately? The bandits never had much discipline to begin with, but now it's turned into outright anarchy. From what I've heard, those rebels aren't even listening to Fence anymore, even though he used to hold some authority over most of them. Seems he even lifted the ban on Scavs killing Scavs. Probably figured it would help deal with the troublemakers faster. For some reason, all this trash keeps drifting onto my land. They even found one of my bolty stashes and cleaned it out! The forest is a mess right now, like something out of the Wild West. There's no real leader among them. The Scavs just drag their loot here and settle scores with each other. Still, some temporary leaders keep emerging among the survivors. They carry badges on them. Just like in those old westerns... Never cared much for those films, and I won't tolerate this rabble on my territory. If we take out enough of these so-called "sheriffs", the smaller gangs will scatter on their own. Will you help? And don't forget to take their badges! I'll spend some time thinking about what I can offer you in return.

Jaeger: You've done good work, but the forest is still too noisy for my liking. If you come across any more bandits carrying those badges, don't let them get away. I've still got some captured gear I'm willing to trade for those things. The kind of equipment you'll definitely appreciate.
