Ragman — briefing

Hey there, ahper! I'm in a real mess this time, not something I'd wish on anyone… You've probably already heard Peacekeeper's version of the story. But it's not as simple as you think. Everyone's got a weak spot, and this Edward dude found mine, you get me? Peacekeeper doesn't give a damn about any of that, but you know me! Anyway, I talked to him, and it looks like there's a way out of this mess. Peacekeeper isn't just planning to stop Edward, he wants to shut him down for good. For a long time. If that happens, my risks disappear with him. The problem is, Peacekeeper doesn't have enough proof that Edward's been quietly writing off perfectly good gear, electronics, weapons, all that shit. That's where I can help. The shipments are so tangled up that a single package won't prove anything on its own. We need several of them together so we can piece the equipment back together and match the serial numbers. And for that, we need someone like you. Think you can haul some contraband crates over to the sawmill? Shturman seems to have cleared out for now, so grabbing the cargo from those UN guys shouldn't be a problem. I need at least ten boxes. Leave them next to the green shipping container, there's only one like it there. I've still got a few unopened crates myself, I'll give those to you right away.

Ragman: So, all done? You saved me again, brother! Hopefully we won't be hearing anything more about Edward. Still, makes you wonder how many "enterprising" officers like him are out there, huh? Sure, this one might end up behind bars, but he can't be the only clever one pulling tricks like that. The important thing is we dealt with the threat, and Tarkov still has a source of NATO gear. Though it'll take a while before things cool down again.
