Introduction

“Introduction” is a Mechanic task in Escape from Tarkov. Requires level 2. Reward: 4,500 XP. Objectives: Find Jaeger's camp at the specified spot on Woods; Obtain Jaeger's encrypted message. Required for the Kappa container. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Mechanic — briefing

Mercenary, come here, I've been waiting for you. Just a couple of hours ago, my old friend Jaeger got in touch with me and informed me that he had quite useful information for me. The package with the information I need is encrypted and is located in the Priozersk Natural Reserve area. Where exactly - Jaeger did not specify, but he left a clue: “Look where the hunter would wait for his prey. Where the iron bird has fallen”. Bring me this package and I'll introduce you to Jaeger, he'll definitely have work for you.

Objectives

• Find Jaeger's camp at the specified spot on Woods
• Obtain Jaeger's encrypted message
• Hand over the message to Mechanic

Tactical notes

• WHERE TO LOOK: Woods, the Jaeger camp by the crashed plane. There is a small wooden watchtower next to it.
• The letter is UNDER THE TOWER — not on it and not beside it, but underneath.
