Halloween: Rumors

Temporary quest: active now, part of an event. “Halloween: Rumors” is a Skier task in Escape from Tarkov. Reward: 26,000 XP. Objectives: Visit the Infected Factory; Eliminate 10 infected on Infected Factory. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Event: Halloween 2026 · 29 October 2026

Skier — briefing

Alright mate? Got a job for you. Some fucked-up rumors are spreading all over Tarkov... Even my guys are gossiping like a bunch of old ladies in the stairwell. What're they talking about? Some new infection, supposedly, and people going crazy from it. And only in certain areas! Normally, I'd blow it off, but we've had this kind of shit in Tarkov before. Go check the factory, then come back and tell me what you've seen. I'll sort you out when you're back. And if you bump into any of those nutters, put 'em down. Don't need 'em distracting my boys with all this bollocks.

Objectives

• Visit the Infected Factory
• Eliminate 10 infected on Infected Factory

Tactical notes

• WHERE TO GO: Infected Factory — a separate location on the map selection screen, 20-minute raid. Enter and kill 10 infected.
• It has two extracts: Gate 0 and Gate 3. Insured items are not returned from this location.
• A Halloween 2026 event task: available while the event lasts.

On completion

Skier: You run into any nutters? They come charging at you and all? Fuck me, what a bloody mess... Right, we'll have to think this through.
