Halloween: Initial Examination

Temporary quest: active now, part of an event. “Halloween: Initial Examination” is a Therapist task in Escape from Tarkov. Reward: 38,000 XP. Objectives: Hand over the vaccine shipment. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Event: Halloween 2026 · 29 October 2026

Therapist — briefing

Hello. I know Skier has asked you to deliver a batch of vaccine. That's precisely why I'm contacting you now. We still haven't identified the exact strain of the virus, and we don't know whether this preparation has anything to do with it at all. Its origin, storage conditions, and composition have barely been checked. Yet Skier has already decided that's good enough. If you hand the shipment over to him, the drug will immediately be distributed to the public. I'm asking you to do otherwise and bring the batch to me. I need to examine the vaccine before anyone starts using it.

Objectives

• Hand over the vaccine shipment

Tactical notes

• WHERE TO GO: Lighthouse — the shipment is at the water treatment plant, Building 3, second floor. Extract with it and hand it to Therapist. It only spawns while the quest is active and is lost on death.
• FORK: the vaccine shipment either gets stashed for Skier (Unexpected Help) or handed to Therapist (Initial Examination). Doing one fails the other.
• A Halloween 2026 event task: available while the event lasts.

On completion

Therapist: I knew you had a good head on your shoulders. It's a shame there are so few people like you.
