Halloween: For the Greater Good

Temporary quest: active now, part of an event. “Halloween: For the Greater Good” is a Therapist task in Escape from Tarkov. Reward: 24,000 XP. Objectives: Hand over the infection data to Skier. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Event: Halloween 2026 · 29 October 2026

Therapist — briefing

I've compared the data we've obtained with the records from the previous outbreak. There are too many similarities to be coincidental. The strain has changed, as has the infected's response to our treatments, but the overall pattern is almost identical. Skier is still sticking to his story, claiming he was set up. I'm not prepared to take his word for it. However, he now claims to have important information. I'm willing to examine it and share some of my own findings on the infection with him. Perhaps by comparing our information, we'll finally understand what they're testing here and how to fight it. Deliver my findings to Skier.

Objectives

• Hand over the infection data to Skier

Tactical notes

• WHERE TO GO: no raid needed. The infection data is given at quest start; hand it to Skier through his quest For the Greater Good - An Agreement.
• A Halloween 2026 event task: available while the event lasts.

On completion

Therapist: Thank you for your help. I hope we can finally get to the bottom of what's happening in Tarkov.
