Temporary quest: active now, part of an event. “Halloween: First Results” is a Therapist task in Escape from Tarkov. Reward: 42,000 XP. Objectives: Eliminate 15 infected while they are under the effect of the experimental gas grenade; (Optional) Obtain the RDA-68 experimental CS gas grenade.…

Event: Halloween 2026 · 29 October 2026

Therapist — briefing

The vaccine prototype works, but it only slows the progression of the infection. I've prepared an antibody serum and want to test it directly on the infected. Administering the drug by hand is too dangerous, so we'll try dispersing it as a gas. For that, we need gas grenades, and there are very few left in Tarkov. If you find any, bring them to me. If not, valuable items will do. Anyone who still has grenades is bound to be interested in a trade. In return, you'll receive an experimental sample. Use it on the infected and check the results.

Objectives

• Eliminate 15 infected while they are under the effect of the experimental gas grenade
• (Optional) Obtain the RDA-68 experimental CS gas grenade

Tactical notes

• WHERE TO GO: Infected Factory or Infected Lab. Only infected killed inside the gas cloud count.
• RDA-68 grenades: 3 are given at quest start, then barter at Therapist LL1. They cannot be sold on the Flea Market.
• A Halloween 2026 event task: available while the event lasts.

On completion

Therapist: The effect was quite different from what I'd expected. There's no point in continuing trials of this serum. I'm discontinuing its development. We'll have to find another way to affect the virus.
