“Accidental Witness” is a Story task in Escape from Tarkov. Requires level 1. Objectives: Figure out where Kozlov lived; Read the note on Kozlov's door. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Story — briefing

There's a Logan parked near the dorms with a threatening message left on it. It looks like one of the residents was seriously in debt. But this Kozlov was hardly the only debtor in the industrial zone. Maybe he was being hunted for a reason?

Objectives

• Figure out where Kozlov lived
• Read the note on Kozlov's door
• Find out what Kozlov was involved in
• (Optional) Access Kozlov's room
• (Optional) Figure out where to get the keys to Kozlov's room
• (Optional) Investigate Kozlov's room
• Ask the traders about Anastasia
• Access Skier's accomplice's apartment
• (Optional) Find the key to the apartment
• Learn more about Skier's accomplice
• (Optional) Investigate Skier's accomplice's apartment
• Read the documents in Skier's accomplice's apartment
• Report to Skier that the task is complete
• Talk to Ragman
• Locate Anastasia's apartment
• Investigate the entrance of Anastasia's building
• Learn more about Anastasia
• Locate courier Pasha
• Search the ambush spot
• Talk to Skier
• Locate Reshala's stash
• (Optional) Locate and neutralize Reshala

Tactical notes

• WHERE TO LOOK: Kozlov lived in room 110 on the ground floor of the two-storey dorms on Customs. The note is on the door, right under the room number.
• Reading the note needs no key. Getting inside does — bring the room 110 key with you.
