“Thirsty - Hounds” is a Jaeger task in Escape from Tarkov. Requires level 15. Reward: 10,000 XP. Objectives: Eliminate 12 Scavs in the time period of 22:00-7:00 on Shoreline. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Jaeger — briefing

We need to talk. Sanitar's goons have been prowling the shore area at nights. Obviously looking for something. Can't let it go unchecked. Scare them off while I try to find out what they're up to.

Objectives

• Eliminate 12 Scavs in the time period of 22:00-7:00 on Shoreline

Tactical notes

• THE ONLY CONDITION IS THE TIME: between 22:00 and 07:00. Place, weapon and pace are all free, so there is no need to rush or to build a special kit.
• Night vision or a thermal helps, but neither is required.

On completion

Jaeger: You fought them off? Excellent! I found out they're looking for Thirsty's hideout. He was the guy who used to always bring a double supply of water with him. I haven't seen him in a while, right after he mixed up with Skier. I guess it led to a bad end for him.
