“Setup” is a Skier task in Escape from Tarkov. Requires level 18. Reward: 10,000 XP. Objectives: Eliminate 8 PMC operatives while wearing the specified gear on Customs. Required for the Kappa container. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Skier — briefing

Hello, buddy. You heard about the Scavs squaring off right now, right? It's a big mess out there. And it's all fine and dandy, but my boys are getting caught up in this as well. Though my guys are not complete nitwits, some help would still be appreciated. So here's the plan: this gang has their own outfits, their key-fighters wear ushankas, fisherman vests, and often use shotguns. What a bunch of clowns, aren't they? So what you should do is dress up like one of them (Scav Vest, Ushanka ear flap hat, and MP-series shotguns) and smoke some PMCs. I don't care about factions, the important thing is to just get PMCs into this to fight those morons. You get what's gonna happen, yeah?

Eliminate 8 PMC operatives while wearing the specified gear on Customs

Tactical notes

The whole task stays on one map: Customs.
The gear must be WORN at the moment of the kill — carrying it in a backpack does not count.
Unlocks only at trader loyalty: Skier to LL2.
This task is part of the Kappa container chain — do not skip it.

On completion

Skier: My guys are saying that Customs is at World War 3 right now, BEARs and USECs are dropping Scavs left and right! Good shit, nice work. Here's your prize, as promised.
