Search mission

“Search mission” is a Prapor task in Escape from Tarkov. Requires level 5. Reward: 3,000 XP. Objectives: Locate Prapor's missing convoy on Woods; Locate the temporary USEC camp on Woods. Required for the Kappa container. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Prapor — briefing

Greetings, warrior. I have a job for you. Long story short, I lost contact with one of my groups, and it's been quite a while ago. When shit hit the fan, I sent them to Woods to pick up some cargo. I'm afraid they got ambushed, the last time I got through, they reported that the USECs were closing in on them from the hills. Investigate it, check if anyone survived. Their convoy had a BRDM, a Bukhanka van, and a truck of some sort, I do not remember what kind exactly. I think that the USECs must have settled somewhere near there too, so stay sharp. Find my convoy and those USECs' camp, if it is really there. Dismissed.

Objectives

• Locate Prapor's missing convoy on Woods
• Locate the temporary USEC camp on Woods
• Survive and extract from the location

Tactical notes

• BOTH POINTS MUST BE VISITED IN ONE RAID — you cannot split it across two runs, and that is easy to miss.
• HOW TO GET THERE: reach the sawmill in the middle of the map and head up the road from it, in the direction AWAY FROM THE LAKE.
• The roads and the power lines are the easiest landmarks — going by the trees is how people get lost.

Prapor: So my guys didn't make it and the transports were looted... Plus a USEC camp nearby, you say? That sucks, the cargo was very important. Well, you've done your part of the deal, so here's the reward. You can buzz off now.
