Metal Birds

“Metal Birds” is a Peacekeeper task in Escape from Tarkov. Requires level 25. Reward: 3,000 XP. Objectives: Locate and obtain the motor controller on Woods; Hand over: the motor controller. Required for the Kappa container. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Peacekeeper — briefing

Hey, get over here, I have a big deal! You have probably heard already that there are a couple of foreign drones downed in the area? Good people have asked me to salvage something for them, controllers or whatnot. I don’t know what that is, I, frankly, I don’t give a fuck, all I know is that they’re paying some good crispy green and obviously don’t want our domestic tech pool expansion. These drones are most likely already pulled apart, but it’s still worth a look. Keep in mind, that before they lost contact with command, USECs received an order to check up the drones and fetch the gyros from the abandoned Russian military vehicles. You need to search the places where they used to hang out. I know it’s fucked up to work for them capitalists, but such a pile of cash is stronger than my patriotism. I know the USECs were hanging around Shoreline in that Health Resort - they had a base there in both wings, so they most likely stashed the cargo there. Just in case, check the areas around the UAVs, they might've forgot something there. People have also seen USECs in the natural reserve, they were driving black SUVs near the sawmill. Well, you've got the overall idea, so figure it out yourself.

Tactical notes

• THE TASK WAS SHORTENED: everything is on ONE map now — Woods — and it is one of each item, not three. Shoreline from older guides no longer applies.
• The controller and the gyroscope are tied to specific objects: this is not random loot, so look for the places rather than searching everything.
• It closes in a single raid now — it used not to.

Peacekeeper: Finally dragged it all to me. Awesome! I won’t disappoint you either. So, seen any USECs around the cars? Well, doesn't matter.
