Make Amends
“Make Amends” is a Mechanic task in Escape from Tarkov. Requires level 33. Objectives: Obtain the V3 Flash drive on Lighthouse; Reflash the Radio transmitter. Walkthrough, map and requirements.
Mechanic — briefing
The Lightkeeper has let me know he's ready to take you back. Only the old flash drive doesn't work any more, so you'll have to find a new one, reflash the transmitter and hand it to me. And I'll set the transmitter up the way it needs to be.
Objectives
- Obtain the V3 Flash drive on Lighthouse
- Reflash the Radio transmitter
- Hand over the flash drive
- Visit the Lighthouse building
Tactical notes
- THE ONE THING THAT LOSES THE TASK: DO NOT KILL ZRYACHIY. Kill him and the task fails and access to it is gone for good.
- WHERE TO LOOK: the V3 flash drive has several spawns at the water treatment plant on Lighthouse. The key is not needed for all of them — some are reachable without it.
- Then the transmitter is reflashed at Intelligence Center level 2, and POWER MUST HOLD FOR THE WHOLE process.
- IN A GROUP: if even one of you lacks an encoded transmitter, it goes to 'blocked' state and NOBODY gets across the bridge.
