Information Trail

Temporary quest: active now, part of an event. “Information Trail” is a Therapist task in Escape from Tarkov. Reward: 28,000 XP. Objectives: Obtain the intel from Scourge; Survive and extract from The Lab. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Therapist — briefing

The informant has finally made contact. However, he wasn't able to find any information about the specific developments, only about one of TerraGroup's employees. This person worked in administration, but had access to the underground facility and visited the laboratory from time to time. My specialist confirmed that Ref was interested in this employee, his routes, access, and responsibilities. But we still don't understand exactly what we're looking for. So we'll have to act more aggressively. I want to know more about the orders Ref gave his mercenaries. Most likely, their commander, Scourge, has this information. I hope it's clear what I need you to do.

Objectives

• Obtain the intel from Scourge
• Survive and extract from The Lab
• Hand over the found item

Tactical notes

• WHERE TO GO: The Lab. The smartphone is carried by the boss Scourge — find and kill him; he spawns at the reception or by the orange dome on the first level.
• Next comes Side Hustle for Therapist; once it is accepted, Mechanic gives out Doxed (per the wiki: Accept Side Hustle).
• A Scourge Incursion event task: available while the event lasts.
