Halloween: Coincidence?

Temporary quest: active now, part of an event. “Halloween: Coincidence?” is a Skier task in Escape from Tarkov. Reward: 42,000 XP. Objectives: Locate the source of the signal on Lighthouse; Obtain any clues in the area. Walkthrough, map and requirements.

Event: Halloween 2026 · 29 October 2026

Skier — briefing

Listen, this infection's spreading across Tarkov a bit too neatly. One place flares up, then another, like someone's deliberately testing the quarantine to see how much it'll take. Things don't usually happen like that on their own. On top of that, my lads picked up some dodgy signal coming from Lighthouse. What the hell it is, I've no bloody idea, but I don't like the coincidence. Get over there, find the source and have a proper rummage around the area. If you find anything useful, bring it straight to me. I want to know what the hell's going on.

Objectives

Locate the source of the signal on Lighthouse
Obtain any clues in the area
Hand over the found clue

Tactical notes

WHERE TO GO: Lighthouse, water treatment plant, Building 2, first floor, north side — the room with a radio switched on. The folder is in the same room, in the laboratory fume hood. Extract with it and hand it to Skier.
A Halloween 2026 event task: available while the event lasts.

On completion

Skier: So, you managed to have a good look around? I'll go through all of it.
