Update 1.1 barely touched the task texts, but it rewrote the rewards for them. Quest experience was reassembled in a way that broke the old levelling tables — and in places the difference is sixfold.
Experience for a task used to look like an arbitrary number: 4,500 here, 11,700 there, 25,500 somewhere else. After the patch the figures pulled together into a few large steps — roughly 3,000, 10,000, 28,000 and 65,000.
Here are a few tasks where the difference shows best:
So Charisma Brings Success got more than six times more expensive, and Silent Caliber almost four.
The main conclusion: the old "cheap first, expensive later" running order no longer works. Rewards used to roughly match the hassle: a long chain with item collection paid a lot, a short fetch-quest paid little. Now tasks on the same step pay about the same regardless of how long you spent on them.
Which is unwelcome and welcome at once:
If you are planning your levelling from old guides, check the numbers: routes built before the patch optimise for something the game no longer has.
Worth saying plainly: after the patch most sources showed the old values for a while. We checked this by hand, and the picture was this — open databases were serving pre-patch figures, and only the wiki material turned out to be current.
So we rebuilt the experience in our catalogue from the wiki rather than from the convenient machine source: the convenient one was out of date. Along the way, 161 tasks had no experience listed at all — we filled those gaps and updated another 66 values.
On a task page the experience sits next to the level and the trader. If there is no experience line, that is not a glitch: some tasks genuinely give no experience, and the reward is something else — a skill level, money, trader access or a container. These pages used to show "+0 XP", which read as a broken site, so now we simply do not draw the line.
One thing we do not yet guarantee: the patch also touched item counts in objectives, and here the wiki lags behind the game in places. We check disputed tasks in the game itself and fix them as we verify — if you spot a discrepancy, hit "Suggest a correction" on the task page.
