An item counts as found in raid if you picked it up on the map and got out alive. Such an item gets an invisible mark. An item bought on the flea market has no mark — even if it is otherwise identical.
In our database 64 tasks require items carrying that mark.
The typical story: a player saves up money, buys everything on their task list off the flea market, walks up to the trader — and cannot hand it in. Money spent, time lost, and they still have to go into a raid.
The second typical story is Kappa. Part of the chain needs found-in-raid items, so "buying the rest at the end" does not work even in principle.
> One more subtlety: "hand over" and "find in raid" are often two separate steps of the same task. Completing the first does not credit the second.
In My Summary the hoarding list can be switched to "found in raid only" — what remains is everything you will definitely have to go and get yourself.
